The Center for Digital Innovation called DIH4S is a Digital Innovation Hub (DIH) that acts as a one-stop shop for helping companies and organizations to improve their competitiveness by adopting digital technologies. DIH4S is a not-for-profit type of institutional initiative.
Our services are designed to assist companies and public organizations to innovate their business and production processes, products or services through digitalization, as well as to facilitate access to technical expertise in digital transformation and experimentation on digitalization.
The Center for Digital Innovation DIH4S also provides specialized services, such as financing advice in relation with digitalization-driven projects, training and skills development for a successful digital transformation. Our approach for digitalization embeds environmental and circularity issues, too.
The focus of our DIH is directed on ensuring wide use of digital technologies across the economy and society. Therefore, our target beneficiaries are both private and public organizations, including SMEs from any economic sector and public administration.
Thus, the specialization of DIH4S is Intelligent Robotics and Cybersecurity for Industrial Enterprises, Hospitals, and Public Administration, horizontally supported by Artificial Intelligence algorithms.
In this respect, DIH4S incorporates a critical mass of experts in Intelligent Robotics (including social robotics, AMRs, cobotics, cloud robotics, autonomous virtual assistants and chatbots), Cybersecurity, Blockchain, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence (expert systems, ML, NN, NLP), CPS, IoT, and provides access to specialized laboratories in medical, social and industrial robotics, automation, cloud manufacturing, I-IoT and domotics, virtual reality, advanced metrology, as well as laboratories for cybersecurity to whom it may concern.
But DIH4S does not count only on its resources. We adopted an open innovation 4.0 model, based on open platforms and ecosystems, with operational processes created in alliances with other European DIHs, to compensate any local capability gap. This creates a fast link with an extensive pool of experts at the European level.
