The series of informative webinars organised within the DIH4Society project continues with a new session dedicated to companies in the North-West region that want to accelerate digital transformation at organisational level, together with DIH4Society as a strategic partner.
On 4 March 2026, at 14:00, exclusively online, the second informative webinar dedicated to the latest call for SMEs under the current project will take place. The event is open to all interested SMEs in Romania, with special relevance for companies in Bistrița-Năsăud County, through the active involvement of Camera de Comerț și Industrie Bistrița-Năsăud in organising and promoting the initiative.
Participation is free of charge, based on registration through the online form, and the session lasts about an hour. The webinar will present the eligibility conditions for SMEs, the 21 services available – with an emphasis on digitalisation and cybersecurity – the registration steps and completing the application, as well as an interactive question-and-answer session.
The call, open since 19 January 2026, allows applications to be submitted until 30 April 2026, within the limit of the available budget. The services are offered free of charge, as state aid, under a project funded 50% by the Romanian State and 50% by the European Commission, through the Digital Europe Programme.
The webinar comes in a context in which cyber risks are growing rapidly. According to data reported by the National Cybersecurity Directorate, in 2024 there were significant increases in cyber fraud, malware attacks and application compromises, and the installed sensors detected over 27 million relevant cybersecurity events. The targets covered various sectors – from banking institutions and transport companies to public administrations and energy providers.
In this context, DIH4Society makes available to SMEs essential services such as cyber incident response to ensure business continuity, specialised courses for teams and vulnerability monitoring tools, as well as cyber risk reporting and management services for substantiating strategic decisions.
