Pioneers in Digital Transformation

DIH4Society is the driving force behind building a smarter, safer, and more sustainable society.

The Digital Innovation Hub for a Smarter, Safer, and More Sustainable Society (DIH4Society) is a key driver of digital transformation and innovation, based in the North-West Region of Romania. Established in 2015, it is officially recognized by the European Commission as a fully operational hub.

Between July 2026 and June 2029, DIH4Society provides digital transformation services worth over EUR 4.5 million in the North-West and South-West regions, free of charge for eligible beneficiaries.

DIH4Society has been selected by the European Commission as an officially recognized hub of the European Digital Innovation Hubs network (edihnetwork.eu).

The funding is provided in equal shares through a direct grant from the European Commission under the Digital Europe Programme (grant no. 101256843 — DIH4Society 2.0) and through co-financing from the Romanian State via the Smart Growth, Digitalisation and Financial Instruments Programme 2021–2027 (DIH4Society 2.0 project, MySMIS code 365825).

DIH4Society 2.0 continues the first implementation cycle (2023–2026), during which the hub supported 151 SMEs, 38 public institutions and 12 hospitals and delivered over 1,000 services. By 2029 we aim to support 118 SMEs, 49 public institutions and 25 healthcare organisations. About DIH4Society 1.0

This provides SMEs, public authorities, and healthcare organizations with the opportunity to receive for free specialized services to support innovation and digital transformation (eligibility criteria apply).
