Starting in August 2025, Deltamed, one of the most important Romanian manufacturers of ambulances and special vehicles, became a beneficiary of the services offered by DIH4Society experts, on a journey oriented towards digital transformation, innovation and sustainable development.
During the collaboration, Deltamed benefited from a complex range of services, from digital maturity assessment and investment consultancy dedicated to companies in the process of scaling, to cybersecurity vulnerability monitoring, cybersecurity training programmes and facilitating participation in international conferences, brokerage sessions and matchmaking events.
A first important benefit of the collaboration was the assessment of the company's level of digitalisation, which gave a clear picture of Deltamed's positioning relative to national and European averages. In parallel, the cybersecurity vulnerability monitoring service contributed to raising awareness of the frequency and complexity of cyber threats, supporting the development of a security-oriented organisational culture.
The investment consultancy had a particular impact on the company's strategic direction. The Deltamed team appreciates that this collaboration brought new perspectives on future development, stimulating the analysis of new models of collaboration and of leveraging intellectual property. Among the directions identified are strengthening the portfolio of innovative products and developing partnerships by integrating Deltamed solutions into final products made together with other manufacturers.
At the same time, the training programmes “Cybersecurity for Everyone” (levels 1 and 2) and the “Cyber Security Defender” course contributed to developing employees' skills, giving them the knowledge needed to identify, prevent and manage cyber threats.
Participation in the DIH4Society International Digital Transformation Conference, as well as in the brokerage sessions and matchmaking events, facilitated the company's access to the European innovation community. These activities created valuable opportunities for networking, exchange of best practices, partner identification and exploration of new directions of collaboration.
