The year 2025 ended for the DIH4Society ecosystem and the regional IT community with an extremely successful networking event which, on 19 December, marked the last edition of the IT Managers Club in 2025. Organised by Cluj IT, coordinator of DIH4Society, the event was open at regional level and put the spotlight on all the activity carried out during the year, the experts' experience in collaborating with beneficiaries, as well as future plans. The evening was dedicated to celebrating people, innovative ideas and the tangible impact generated by DIH4Society during the year, combining a retrospective of achievements with an in-depth analysis of the realities of digital transformation at market level.
The agenda was structured in two key components that captivated participants: a comprehensive review of the project and a round table with DIH4Society experts involved in delivering digital transformation services: from consultancy for automatizarea proceselor and attracting investments, to cybersecurity, digital marketing or smart robotics courses, optimising the application portfolio, participation in brokerajsessions, events of matchmaking and the international conference on digital transformation.
Anul 2025: etape si impactul
The first part offered a detailed presentation of the impact and activities of DIH4Society during 2025. Participants were guided through the important milestones achieved, highlighting how the initiative has successfully fulfilled its mission of assessing and supporting the digital maturity of beneficiaries from various sectors. From critical project developments to key activities and successful partnerships with experts from the local ecosystem, the presentation reflected the substantial progress that the DIH4Society community has made in supporting digital innovation.
The reality of digital transformation: Experts in action
The focal point of the evening was a dynamic round table, centred on DIH4Society experts and their experience in providing essential services to eDIH clients. The discussion focused on the practical challenges and successes of collaborating with diverse teams from:
- Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs): addressing the unique obstacles of implementing digital solutions in fast-paced environments with limited resources.
- Public administration: discussing the complexity of modernising public services and navigating the bureaucratic landscape.
- Hospitals and healthcare: exploring the critical role of technology in improving patient care, managing data and overcoming resistance to change in the medical field.
The panel, moderated by Erik Barna, brought together three experts with experience in delivering services to DIH4Society beneficiaries: Ciprian Căprioară, Cosmin Porumb and Cristian Ureche. They openly shared the most important challenges they faced, the innovative strategies used to overcome them and their candid assessment of the reality of digital transformation for the people working within these organisations. The discussion offered a fundamental insight into the gap between policy and execution on the ground, revealing that true digital transformation is as much about human adaptation and cultural change as it is about technology.
A festive conclusion and a look to the future
As a traditional end of the year, the event concluded with a look to the future. The calendar of Cluj IT events for the first half of the new year was officially presented, creating anticipation for the networking opportunities and business development initiatives to follow.
The first month of 2026 will mark the launch of the latest call for digital transformation services offered by DIH4Society to eligible organisations in Romania, especially small and medium-sized companies interested in accessing support to improve their digital journey, regardless of the stage they are at, and to improve cybersecurity at business level, for their own benefit and that of their clients.
The DIH4Society team announced the official launch of the new call on 22 January in Cluj-Napoca, at a new networking event open to the regional business environment that will bring together companies from multiple industries.
The evening ended with a festive networking session, in the spirit of Christmas. The vibrant atmosphere was full of interesting conversations, reflecting the strong community spirit and positive energy that define the Cluj IT ecosystem.

The event offered participants not only the opportunity to celebrate the achievements of 2025, but also to strengthen our commitment to promoting meaningful digital change in the region.
