Calls
DIH4Society is one of the European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH) in Romania, funded by the European Commission through the Digital Europe Programme (DEP) and co-financed by the Romanian State through the Smart Growth, Digitalisation and Financial Instruments Programme 2021–2027 (PoCIDIF).
Due to the two sources of funding, the services provided within the project are free of charge for eligible beneficiaries, being considered state aid for innovation in the case of SME beneficiaries.
DIH4Society brings together and coordinates a complex ecosystem led by four consortium partners – Cluj IT Cluster, Universitatea Tehnică din Cluj-Napoca, Camera de Comerț și Industrie Bistrița-Năsăud and Universitatea de Medicină și Farmacie din Craiova.
The extended ecosystem includes over 50 relevant network actors, from research and technology solution providers to education and business development services. It incorporates cluster initiatives, chambers of commerce and industry, members of the Enterprise Europe Network, SME associations, and groups that maintain collaboration with regional development agencies.
DIH4Society is running several calls for applications, by beneficiary category: SMEs, public institutions and healthcare organisations. The details of each call are available on the dedicated page. Please follow the steps set out in the application documentation so that the selection process runs smoothly.
Applications are evaluated continuously, in weekly sessions: complete applications received by Friday at 23:59 are evaluated the following week, in order of receipt. We analyse the information submitted through the form, as well as that discussed with our experts, according to the organisation's objectives and context.
DIH4Society 2.0 Calls
Call 1 for selection of SME beneficiaries
Free digital transformation services for SMEs: digital maturity assessment, consultancy in digital transformation, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, test before invest, courses, funding support and networking. Value of the services requested: between EUR 3,000 and EUR 70,000 per company. The call is open continuously until 31 December 2028, within the limit of the EUR 2,474,677 budget.
Call 2 for selection of beneficiaries – mid-cap companies
Free digital transformation services for mid-cap companies (between 500 and 3,000 employees, which are not SMEs), granted as de minimis aid: digital maturity assessment, consultancy in digital transformation, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, test before invest, courses, funding support and networking. Value of the services requested: between EUR 3,000 and EUR 70,000 per company. The call is open continuously until 31 December 2028, within the limit of the available budget.
Call 1 for selection of beneficiaries – public institutions
Free digital transformation services for public authorities and institutions (city halls, county councils, agencies and other local, regional or national public institutions): digital maturity assessment, consultancy in digital transformation, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, test before invest, courses for staff and networking. Value of the services requested: between EUR 12,000 and EUR 100,000 per institution. The call is open continuously until 31 December 2028, within the limit of the available budget.
Call 1 for selection of beneficiaries – public institutions in the health sector
Free digital transformation services for public hospitals and other public healthcare units: digital maturity assessment, consultancy in digital transformation, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, test before invest (clinical simulations, AI-assisted diagnosis), courses for staff, funding support and networking. Value of the services requested: between EUR 12,000 and EUR 70,000 per institution. The call is open continuously until 31 December 2028, within the limit of the available budget.
